Festival Flamenco Alburquerque 36 presents Marco Flores with Invited Artists Claudia Cruz and Marina Valiente in Sota, Caballo y Reina. Together with a host of dazzling invited artists, Marco Flores immerses audiences in a playful yet profound performance, inspired by the famous 1922 Cante Jondo Contest in Granada, a landmark moment in flamenco's history. Winner of the 2020 Max Prize in Dance, Flores' ever-fresh style balances elegance and joy with vitality and depth. Along with invited artists, dancers Claudia Cruz and Marina Valiente, Flores reaches back to great figures of the past to make a vibrant, new work of art.
