Festival Flamenco Alburquerque 36 presents Tacha González in the U.S. Premiere of Menospausa. A veteran of flamenco performance in theatre and tablao, and cofounder of Tablao Las Carboneras, Tacha González performs her first solo stage show. From world tours to train journeys, risks and losses to joys and triumphs, González has tirelessly created everywhere and anywhere she has been. In Menospausa, González invites audience into her life, a life in art, a life in flamenco.
Festival Flamenco Alburquerque is a production of the National Institute of Flamenco in partnership with the University of New Mexico and the National Hispanic Cultural Center.
