Pressing- Linnell Festival of New Plays
Pressing is an original play by MFA in Dramatic Writing graduate student Marya Errin Jones in the Department of Theatre and Dance, and is part of the Linnell Festival of New Plays. Written by Marya Errin Jones and directed by Ewa Maria Platt, Pressing explores the topics of music, pop culture, connection, sexuality, dreams, the nature of time, interracial love, and the family bonds we create for ourselves. This event is not suitable for children.
Sink- Linnell Festival of New Plays
Sink is an original play by MFA in Dramatic Writing graduate student Katie Farmin in the Department of Theatre and Dance, and is part of the Linnell Festival of New Plays. Sink is about a freshly moved in couple Paul and Molly who argue over how long Paul's old college friend, Annie, has been staying with them. However, Molly has a right to be worried because something is very, very wrong with Annie. Not suitable for children.

Through hurricanes and deaths of loved ones, a group of expats and locals in a dive bar in New Orleans mourn and express love through poetry and ritual.
