The NMPhil continues the long tradition of holiday pops concerts with this year’s edition of “Home for the Holidays,” featuring a blizzard of holiday favorites such as “Sleigh Ride,” “Carol of the Bells,” “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” from The Nutcracker, and much more. We also join forces with some of the finest young musicians in New Mexico to craft this holiday delight.
Love, Love, Love
Saturday, February 15, 2025, 8pm
Jason Altieri, conductor
“Love, love, love, that is the soul of genius,” said Wolfgang Mozart. He might well have been talking about how the music of romance and longing are as much part of the orchestra as are violins and flutes. Enjoy a selection of romantic music for the Valentine’s Day weekend, all brought to you by your NMPhil. Bring your valentine along for an evening of love and romance!
