The UNM Department of Theater and Dance produces Joy Harjo's play Wings of Night Sky, Wings of Morning Light this April. The script is a healing ceremony focused on the story of Redbird, a Mvskoke woman coming to terms with challenges she has faced, while celebrating her sources of strength and circles of support. Harjo is a two-time poet laureate of the United States, and a UNM alum.
